Practising traditional facial hair removal is rarely seen along a busy street especially in Chinatown, Singapore. Recently, I had an opportunity of capturing some images of this traditional practice when I visited an area near Beijing Road, Guangzhou, China. I think is hard to run into such a sight and is interesting to observe such a procedure again after an absence of many years.
A visit to Bulukumba, Tanah Beru, Ujung Pandang, would give you a blink of Phinisi (icon of Indonesia seafaring) under various stages of construction. I think the uniqueness of boat building industry over here is a worthwhile visit for photographer.
Bantimmurung Waterfall was one of the destinations for the finalist of the 2011 Garuda Indonesia International Photo Contest. The waterfall is also known as the “Kingdom of Butterflies”. Unfortunately, there was not many to be seen during our visit. Nevertheless, this location provided good opportunity for capturing images of children having fun at the stunning waterfall.
