A View From Pao Tere Harbour

One of the events of the 2011 Garuda Indonesia International Photo Contest was to capture the typical scene of the Pao Tere Traditional Harbour, Makassar, Indonesia.
The visit was in a very sunny afternoon. The Harbour was not so busy as you could expect. I decided to board one of the ships to shoot a seascape with good framing. I was fortunate to have the beautiful sky with unusual clouds formation.
Without this element, I think the visual impact of this image would be very much weaker.

Dried Tree At The Turret Arch

I was trying to capture the Turret Arch in a different angle. I deliberately using a very low angle to capture this image in order to frame the dried tree within the Turret Arch, Arches Canyon , USA. Even with life view of the camera, I was still not able to see the exact image in the view finder. Fortunately, I had to use super wide to capture the image. By doing that, I was able to achieve the result shown here.
