A lovely reflection of the BBC Building on the water of River Clyde, Glasgow, was slightly stirred by a breeze. The next moment, a lovely white swan gliding gracefully into the pattern of water. All the ingredients needed to form an excellent image happened almost within a split of second. Once again, I was lucky to capture the image at a right place and right on time. I love the quality of morning lighting as well.
I captured this image while I was visiting Salford Quays, Manchester in 2008. Somehow, I stored this image in my collection for almost three years. Recently, in reviewing my images, I found this striking colourful image. I am quite like the strong visual impact of the colour as well as the fight of the birds.
An image captured in the field of Queen’s View, Loch Tummel, Scotland. Such tiny flowers could be easily step on while you are strolling. I was attracted by the bright colour of the flower. I decided to use the lifeview mode at a very low angle to shoot the flower in a different viewpoint. Surely, differential focus and narrower depth of field, besides the gorgeous colour, are the important elements of creating this image with greater visual impact.
