I captured this image during one of my visits to KK Market. From a vantage point, I fully utilized the light and shadow of strong lines and pattern created by the morning light. Simplicity in composition undoubtedly is also a key factor to achieve the visual impact of this image. The rider timely came into the picture added life and interest to the whole picture.
I am sure any photographer facing such a fast changing landscape would like to capture more frames within a split of seconds. I have enjoyed viewing the changes as well as captured another image of “Dreamland Of Ella” during my brief stop at the gap of Ella, Sri Lanka, last September .
When we arrived at a look out of Lake Toba, the weather in the late afternoon was rather gloomy. Nevertheless, I decided to place the overgrown tree against the backdrop of the shower area. Apparently, such a treatment has added interest to this colourful image in spite of soft lighting condition.
