The Beauty Of Waves

I love pattern and lines for my work. This is a image that I captured of a view of Cook Strait in New Zealand in 2013. I think the pattern and lines of the waves has a great visual impact for the image. I just like it.

To me, the amazing twilight is hard to come by. I was fortunate to capture the twilight at the Lower Peirce Reservoir recently. For this particular image, I decided o use a slow shutter speed to emphasize the beautiful colour of the reflections from the water. Together couple with the gorgeous colour of the sky, the visual impact of image is much greater. I just simply love it.

I captured this image at The Gardens By The Bay in 2014. I like the pattern and lines of the architecture. Fortunate to have a colourful worker to be in the frame as the centre of interest for the image. Most importantly, is to freeze the decisive moment of the action at the most strong location for the composition.
