Once again the brilliant morning light plays an important part in a colourful image. Transferring two blocks of ice from the boat to the shore of Lombok, Indonesia, is never an easy task. But the worker seems to handle the job well. This image was captured at the 2011 Nusantara Photo Club Annual Meeting cum Outing in Lombok, Indonesia.
I was fascinated by the colour of the rusty metal and the creation by the forces of Mother Nature on the wall. I think it is an inspiration to any artist who practise arts. No wonder, my friend who accompanied me to Coloane Village of Macau recently, was extremely contented with our morning outing.
Imagine that this location without light, I think it will not be so attractive as shown here. My first impression is the quality of light. Within a split of seconds, I captured the image without any hesitation. Photography without light will not be a painting with light any more. This is another image that I captured at a side street of Macau during my recent visit.
