An Early Set Off

The atmosphere of the early morning in the village is always a strong favourable condition for capturing a striking image. This image that I captured in Lombok is no exception. Fortunate to have the villager coming into the frame to complete the story of the image. Shooting against the lighting condition to achieve the maximum visual impact of the image is the usual approach in capturing the image.

Am I Cute?

Am I cute? That seem to be the question she was asking the spectator. A close up portrait that I captured during my trip to Australia. The moving performer was on stilt. From my vantage angle, I was able to capture the image from a lower level. Such an approach in shooting allowed me to fully utilise the sky as the simple backdrop. Thus, I was able to exclude the busy background in order to capture a more outstanding image.
