After my long absence of nineteen years from Kuching, Sarawak, I encountered a passing shower on my first day of arrival. Then, followed by an unexpected awesome twilight. I realized that I was fortunate to witness this typical scene of Sarawak River. To me, this is a gorgeous landscape with a strong local favor.
In landscape photography, I always consider the uniqueness of applying appreciation of lighting, colour contrast and differences in shapes together in a effective way. The final element for the image is my feeling towards the scene from a vantage angle. This image that I captured when I visited Grand Canyon, USA is no exception.
While I was photographing “The Spectacular Horseshoe Bend”, I came across this image above me. Though I am not a serious photographer of bird, yet was attracted by the quality of lighting and the moment of the bird. My decision was just to capture the image more from the aesthetic view point of photography.
