Once again, the simplicity and colour of the location inspired me to capture this image. The stilts of the house can be very old but the boat has to be new. I think the people in Tai O Fishing Village, Hong Kong, depend very much on water transportation.
Helping dad to look after the store that full of Chinese New Year decors seems to be the duty of this child. Rewarding with a stick of sugar cane is better than any other form. The location of this captured image is none other than Di Shi Pu Road, Guangzhou, China.
I captured this image during my visit to Tai O Fishing Village, Hong Kong, in January this year. The dweller had to fully utilize the space available due to the space constrain. The Chinese expression of “Every inch of earth is gold” is truly depicted here, even is in Tao O.
