When we were on our way to Queenstown, New Zealand, we couldn’t resist stopping by the side of Lake Wakatipu. Though there was no dramatic lighting condition and spectacular clouds formation, I was fascinated by the tranquil scene and colour of this beautiful spot.
As mentioned by Eng Loy’s in his image of “Moeraki Waves”, the Boulders were not as spectacular as we hoped when we arrived. We still managed to capture some nice shots. By getting nearer to the Boulders and changing the angle of shooting, the image definitely gets better.
The Moeraki boulders is one of the popular tourist attractions, along the beach at Moeraki. The location is situated 40 km south of Oamaru. I captured this image from a high vantage point. I love the waves that formed a strong design for this picture.
