Captured in Ga Di Street, 高第街, a street in Guangzhou, China, during my visit in September. Obviously, I was attracted by the non-Chinese colourful woman on her way of delivery. The street with 500 whole sellers and retailers of all kind of men and women underwear, this scene may be common along Ga Di Street.
From a vantage angle at the coast of Gulangyu, Xiamen, China, I frame the image of the modern skyscraper with the natural rocks. An unusual perspective is thus achieved from my location. Have you notice that the rocks symbolise two different animals. I think the wonder of the art of nature is always beyond our imagination.
China is going all out to lift 30m out of poverty by 2020. Hopefully, by then such a scene is disappeared from the town centre. This is an image that I captured during my visit to Shangxiajiu Commercial Pedestrian Street, Guangzhou, China in September.
