Another colourful image from Xining, Qinghai. A slightly different approach compare to “Dream Journey To The Blossom Land”.
Besides the dominant lines and shapes, I make full use of the colour of the sky to achieve a much stronger colour impact.
While I was scouting a food court for my dinner at he Expo 2010, I discovered this interesting illuminated pavilion against the backdrop of moon rising sky. I decided to capture this image with the camera hand held before my meal.
As a visitor to the Tar, Xining, Qinghai, photography in the monastery is not allowed. But outside the monastery, images of people’s life are available in every moment. As seen here, this is one of the images that I captured at a spontaneous moment.
