Eye To Eye

Holding a macaw on your arm is an unusual experience especially for a child. To add to the feeling of fear obviously is when eye to eye with the bird. This is an image that I captured during my brief stop in the island of Rhodes, Greece.

On my way to re-embark the Celestyal Cruises, I was attracted by the distance scene of Rhodes, Greece. I decided to frame the scene with part of the berthed cruise. Such a treatment, is an usual approach of capturing the image with greater depth. The light and shade condition apparently gave a good contrast for the whole image.

Embraced by the cooling breeze from the sea at the side of the lake (“Voulismeni”), a folklore-inspiringly deep body of water which is connected to the sea by a narrow inlet. An afternoon at the Agios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, sharing a intimate moment with a friend, obviously is a quality of life. For me, the back lit condition, added the impact for the visual image.
