Setting Out To Lake Batur

Just returned from Nusantara Photo Club annual meeting in Bali yesterday. For a change, I will share with you one of my latest addition from Bali.

You may think the red jacket of the person is a set up one. But actually, the fisherman (I think) came in with his red jacket to the Lake Batur. I am very sad to note that the lake is badly polluted at the moment, compare to my visit one year ago.

I like the gorgeous colours and the quality of morning light at this location. Though the sensor of my camera light meter failed me at this juncture, yet I was able to decide the camera setting to capture this image accurately in exposure. Is it a matter of luck?

The opposite end of “Clear Water and Sandy Beach” is also very attractive.
I like the attractive formation of clouds against the sky. Obviously the coconut tree is not the only survival plant at this beach.

I am off to Bali for another outing organised by the Nusantara Photo Club. I will upload another new image when I am back in town again.

This is the location where I captured “Twilight Time At Belitung”.

In the late afternoon, I was attracted by the wave that gushing in. Together with the lines that formed by the sand beach, provided me with very simple and yet strong composition. The scattered coconut trees in the backdrop indicated this must be a paradise in a tropical country. The landscape of Belitung is really beautiful. The potential for doing landscape photography is abundant.
