Melasti is still an unique attraction for tourist and photographer. To capture an uncluttered big picture of Hindu at pray is not an easy task to me. Especially, if you like to have an interesting focal point. In this case, I think I have achieved the end result of my perception.
The last step of Melasti ceremony is purification. The Pratima (god symbol) has to be purified before making a return trip to the temple. The religious parade is usually very colourful especially bathed under the low light condition.
To me,to be hit by the gigantic wave is very painful. For a child, well protected by the parent, the experience is an exciting moment. Such an enjoyment is clearly shown on the expression of the face of the child. This is an image that I captured recently at the Pantai Canggu, Bali.
