I captured this image of the mentally disturbed child at a prayer session in Bali, Indonesia. I think the generation gap between the young and old is quite obvious in our daily life. Photographically, the evening lighting of overcast sky was rather flat, yet the expression of the people have achieved the required visual impact.
To me, the mood created by the combination of colour is very strong as seen here. To have a fruitful catch is no better than staying at a quiet corner of the river. The framing that I used here is essential to the composition. This is another image that I captured in Bali, Indonesia.
Breaking the rule of thirds to maximize the perfect composition is not easy sometimes. But for this image that I captured at Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia, I deliberately did it. I think knowing the rule and break it when required can be very effective as shown here. Framing your subject properly is also an essential factor in composition.
