While all the others were busy marketing their goods at the Muara Kuin Floating Market, Banjarmasin, Indonesia, these group of children were having more fun climbing to a higher level in order to jump into the water. Any mishaps and danger of immediate injury obviously is not in their mind. I think that is the real excitement of the simple daily life.
Another colourful image that I captured when I was on the way to the Lok Baintan on a “klotok” along the Tabuk River, South Kalimantan. Perhaps is a daily life of the people over there. Life is simple and yet I am sure is full of personal communication. I think is better way of passing a message across face to face rather than sending a SMS.
I love the repetitive pattern of the hut and the beauty of morning light. I was also attracted by the couple enjoying their relaying moment of the lovely moment. To me, the golden touch of the morning light is essential to this image. What could it be a better life than enjoying a lovely moment with your love ones?
