When I arrived at the lotus pond of the Lotus Hill, Guangzhou, China in 2017, was on a late afternoon. Nevertheless, the late afternoon lighting was brilliant for the flowers. This is one of the images that I like in my collection. The damselfly perched on the flower added interest to the entire image.
During my visit to a village in North Vietnam, May 2018, I came across this villager fishing at a bamboo bridge. To me, the setting was colourful and simple for another interesting image. Under such a tranquil environment, obviously the villager had a good catch of the day.
The simple lines from the vantage angle attracted me. Then, I decided to compose the image in a simple way. Most importantly, the man completed the story content of the image. I captured this image during my visit to Hanoi, Vietnam in May 2018.
