For a thousand years, wood has been used as a fuel. Dragon klins of clay pot factory seen here in Vietnam has no exception. Perhaps is a traditional method of keeping the fire burning at the required temperature. For photography, the factory is always a favourite location for capturing a colourful image. In Singapore, the day of the existing two clay pot factories is numbered. They are considered as a dead trade in Singapore.
Though I missed the gorgeous tradition monthly lantern festival of Hoi An, Vietnam during my visit in July, I just have to be contented with the nightly lit lanterns of the old town. I was attracted by a cafe with a group of the brightly lit lantern. In order to capture the whole group of the brightly lit lanterns in the ceiling, I almost had to lay flat on the floor with my wide-angle lens.
While enjoying a coconut juice under the shelter at the beach of Danang, Vietnam, gave me an opportunity of capturing this colourful image of a Vietnamese outfit. Though the outfit is not the traditional one of Vietnamese, colourful of the dress attracted me. The touch of the girl’s hair has further added interest to the image.
