The island of Mykonos is one of the attractions of Greece. One of the icons is the windmills on the island. The windmills are a defining feature of the Mykonian landscape. To me, Greece is a beautiful country flooded with tourists. Unfortunately, the country is facing financial crisis in the EU. I had the opportunity of participating the 4th Photo Festival 2017 organised by The GPU from 13 to 23 July. I will share with you more images on this website.
The old and new patches of the cement on the wall created very interesting texture and pattern for this image that I captured in George Town, Penang, Malaysia in October 2016. In addition, the colourful new door gave a very strong visual impact for the whole image. Perhaps this is a street scene that is only visible in an old town. For one moment, I thought this is another art creation of the famous art street of the George Town.
I captured this image during my visit to Penang, Malaysia in October, 2016. I was attracted by the colourful reflection from the windscreen’s display along the road side. I don’t know whether the windscreens are for sale? The reflections to me is an indication of the busy night life was just began.
