Bluewater Lake State Park,Bluewater, New Mexico, USA, was not on my itinerary of recent USA trip. The state park is actually near Gallup, New Mexico. I saw it on the map. Since we were on the way to Albuquerque and we decided to drop in. To my surprise, the sky and the reflection of the lake was so beautiful when the weather was gloomy. My decision of exploring the park, ended with more awesome images.
The wonder of nature is for you to admire and enjoy the miracle of landscape. With the appropriate lighting condition, I have captured another unusual image of this Grand Canyon. To me, good lighting and proper contrast with detail in the shade are the essential ingredients of a landscape image.
Just after our lunch break at the Jackcob Lake Inn,Arizona, USA. I came across some of the towering pines of the Kaibab National Forest,USA. Once again, the dramatic lighting condition attracted me to capture this image. I purposely positioned my angle to have the light coming from the back of the pine. To me, such an approach with a super wide angle lens captured the image with a strong visual impact.
As a matter of fact, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is just a scenic 44 mile drive from here.
