The minorities in Sa Pa, North Vietnam were quite certain that the tourist would still turn up to visit their village. That was what they were waiting to act as a tour guide even on a rainy day. For me, i captured this shot through the windscreen of our vehicle. Slow shutter speed is essential here in order to capture the raindrops effect. I am quite like the colourful end result despite of the bad weather.
The beach at Titop Island, Ha Long Bay, is a attractive place for swimming. From the top of the island is also a good view for capturing the landscape of Ha Long Bay.
After a climb of many steps to reach the peak, I was greeted with a spectacular view of Ha Long Bay embraced in the warmest light of the afternoon sun.
Comparing fishing at leisure with my previous post surely is a different matter. I captured this image at Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi, North Vietnam. Actually, fishing at this location is prohibited. I witnessed when a security guard appeared a minute later this man had to hide himself without getting caught. On a hot summer day, what else could a citizen do to cool himself and spending leisure time with free catch?
