After spending one night at the B&B with my family in Queenstown, New Zealand, I was greeted with such an image at our doorstep first thing in the morning. Though this scene is not really spectacular, I quite like the contrast and separation of the vary area within my sight.
Actually we were on our way to Glenorchy. “Tranquilness Of Lake Wakatipu” was one of the images that I captured during this trip.
This is another image captured from my Jogyakarta visit last August. I have been to Taman Sari (built in1758) a couple of times. The afternoon lighting condition gave me an opportunity of having an image of the interior area of the Water Castle. “The Art of Batik Painting” in my previous posting, was the other image that captured the beauty of this ancient place.
As a mentor of the 2008 Garuda International Photo Contest outing for the finalist, I captured this image during the trip to Yogyakarta in last August.
Such an image depends very much on composition and colour contrast. Suitable lighting provided sparkle to the whole image. The bird in the cage added life to the picture.
