Eng Loy’s “Rising Mist” captured at the same location including more of the left side of the landscape. Whereas I prefer to include more of the right area in order to show the other peak as well. From both our images, you would realize that the changes in landscape are really fast within a split of seconds.
After we left the Mount Cook Village, we decided to stop over Peter’s Lookout. This is the recommended scenic spot to view Mount Cook. Though I had already captured the image entitled “Suspension Cloud Over Lake Pukaki” earlier, I still decided to capture this image of Mount Cook from a different viewpoint.
One of our itineraries for New Zealand trip is to visit Mount Cook Village. After I captured the image of “Cloud Suspension Over Lake Pukaki”, finally we arrived at our destination. The mid-day lighting brightly lighted the Mount Cook. The cloud was quite dramatic for this particular landscape. I managed to capture this image before the cloud fully covered the tips of Mount Cook. In comparing with my “ Moon Rise at Mount Cook”, the visual impact of this image is totally different.
