Serenity Of Borobudur

This image of Borobudur was taken almost one year ago. Actually, I visited Borobudur in May and attended the Vesak Day celebration. I went back again in July. I was relief to see Borobudur intact even after Jogyakarta was shaken by the serious earthquake(27.05.2006). Both of my visits were my commitment of serving in the panel of selector for the Vesak Photographic Competition. I was rather pleased to be at Borobudur again to sense the serenity of the place, especially after the judging of the competition. The warm colour of the morning sun added colour to the monochromatic setting of the environment.

Ready For The Parade

Another colourful image captured at the 2006 Bali Arts Festival where I took the previous post. The dancers seem to be impatient after a long wait for the starting of the opening parade. The tight costumes obviously were not that comfortable especially under the very humid weather condition.

Digital Delight

Digital image could create a lot of excitement immediately after the image was taken.
That remind me of a Polaroid print could also stir a moment at one time. Obviously, such a moment of immediate sharing has been taken over by digital image.
As seen here, the dancers whom were waiting to perform at the 2006 Bali Arts Festival shared a moment of their digital image captured by another photographer at the location.
