The vibrant colours of roses usually are a favourite subject for photography. On 02 06 2023 at Gardens by the Bay, I had an opportunity of capturing more images of the flower. Though my visit was during the evening, the soft lighting was still sufficient to allow me to capture a number of eye-catching image.
As my usual practice in photography, simplicity and colour is always applied for my macro-photography in order to achieve maximum visual impact.
I enjoyed the serenity mood at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 13 05 2023 morning.
Though the sky on that day was not that spectacular, I was fortunate to have the angler with his bright colour dress as the subject. I decided to use a wide angle lens to capture the beauty of the landscape. Most importantly, capture the decisive moment of the angler completed the story of image.
My approach of capturing an image of flower is very simple. Usually search for a focus point follows by the proper differential of colour contrast. Then to achieve a great visual impact usually a perfect light and shade is important for the image (Gardens by the Bay, 11 05 2023).
