The long tubular red and yellow flowers of Cross-vine are ideal for close up photography. I was attracted by the colourful flower at the Cloud Forest, Gardens by the bay on 29 01 2023. I am also very pleased with the cross-shaped pattern of the flower.
An observant perception is what required to capture the striking image of the morning dews on the leaves. Application of post-processed soft-ware to increase the contrast of subject and the background enhanced the visual impact of the image. The anticipation of final result was the original concept in mind before the image was capture. An image that was captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 04 02 2023.
On 14 02 2023 at Upper Peirce Reservoir, I encounter another session of unpredictable weather. The overcast sky started to brighten up in the fast distance end. My favourite trees against the brighter sky for a moment. That split of a second allowed me to capture a stunned landscape image of the morning. Not long after I completed the job, I experienced the drizzle weather. That moment was always a challenge that I had to experience when practising landscape photography.
