In the sixties, this was a popular location to capture an image of a street scene in town. I think it was due to the light and shadow on the wall of the building. I was fortunate to have the trishaw as the main subject at the right spot to enhance the impact of the image.
On 26 10 2022, I arrived at the Upper Peirce Reservoir at 6:45 am, slightly late than usual. The gloomy weather and the gusty wind greeted me. I rushed to my favourite spot at the reservoir. I captured the dramatic sky of the brewing storm in the next minute. Immediately returned to the car before the drizzle. I am pleased to have another eye-catching image in spite of the bad weather.
My perception of a decisive moment is one of the moment that I would like to capture. The phenomenon of sky in a landscape image always enhance the visual image. Such an image could not be repeated once you missed the opportunity to capture. That makes an landscape image outstanding as an eye-catching image. On 23 10 2022 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, I had another opportunity to capture another spectacular image.
