I was fortunate to locate a blooming tulip clearly showing the stigma among a group of flowers. The touch of yellow is rather outstanding among the almost monochromatic appearance of the final image. Most importantly, the various position of flowers just blended well within the composition. The soft touch of lighting just aptly lit up the image brilliantly. Tulipmania Inspired 2017 of the Garden By the Bay is just over. Hopefully, we will have another extravagance of Tulip next year.

The little seed pod can be attractive too even after all the pedals have shed. As seen here, the well lit seed pod against the subdued backdrop created an interesting strong visual impact for the image. Most importantly, good colour contrast is also an essential element for the well-composed image. To me, the beauty of lotus flower is endless.
