The richness of symbol, colour and water reflection are the aesthetic value of the stunning landscape image. All these features were perfectly set on 18 12 2023 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir for an eye-catching image. The essence of the landscape image is ever changing and depend very much on the weather condition.
You may think that the strong silhouette on the right side of the frame is too strong and heavy for the image. Initially, that was my impression. Considering using the block as a support of the image to balancing the equally strong interesting symbol in the sky, finally decided to compose in this way for the image captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 07 12 2023. Hopefully, such a bold approach had capture a remarkable image of the Reservoir.
To utilize an interesting foreground in silhouette to match the remarkable symbol and colour in the sky is always my approach in capturing a striking landscape image. There is no exception for this image captured at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 18 11 2023. The scene to me is just too gorgeous to admire.
