I have been observing the colour of the bark of gum tree at my place. I am aware that gum tree is native to Australia. The colour and texture of the bark is very distinctive to me. The tree actually remind me of many memorable moments. Photographically, I love the features of the tree.
To me, the attractions of colours and textures are always unusual. When all these features are appropriately lit by brilliant lighting the visual impact is even stronger. My perception of the combination of these elements ended up with a vibrant colour image that I like.
When I observed this projection at Marina Bay Sands on 11 11 2019, I was attracted by the everchanging projection on the floor. The fast changing colours and patterns of the projection image was a challenge for me to capture. I did it to my liking finally. To me, it is another image with illusion effect. I think life is like a kaleidoscope changing all the time.
