An Image of “To Each His Own”

The lovely morning on 14 02 2021, I was attracted by the activities of the people at the Lower Seletar Reservoir. They were just a small group of active people at the reservoir to start their day even before sunrise. For me, I like the pleasing effect of the available light combined with the attractive colours of the environment. From my vantage angle, I make full use of the curve of the railing to enhance the image further. I am also pleased to see a proper distancing in practice at this open environment.

I like my vantage angle of capturing an image of Heritage Bridge, Lower Seletar Reservoir simply due to its attractive reflections in the water. Together with the magnificent sky formed a very pleasing composition for an image with visual impact. I was fortunate to have a fine morning on 08 04 2021 to capture an image with vibrant colours on top of having a serenity mood. To me, it is very relaxing to be embraced by the beauty of local landscape.

To me, a visit to a lotus pond is not just to capture the beauty of the flowers.
Surprising, I discovered the opportunity of creating another colourful image after a heavy shower. The rain has apparently broken the pattern surface of the oily water and created an interesting pattern on the water. I was fortunate to find a colourful leaf floating on the pattern. The raindrops have also added interest to the entire image. The rest is up to me to compost the image in a pleasing manner. This is an image that I captured during my visit to the Ang Mo Kio West Gardens of the Town Council, locally.
