Who Is Coming Next?

The old City Area and the Little Gardens of Shantou, China, have gradually transformed into a modern pedestrian mall during the last three years. I think this is one way of preserving the century-old buildings. The only drawback is commercialised. But it is another colourful night scene that I would like to explore during my recent visit.
A closed season for fishing is implemented from 1 June to 1 August for all fishing gears except gillnet, line-fishing and cage capture. Along the Guan Hai Chang Lang (Seashore Long Corridor Park), Shantou, China, every morning, a dozen small fishing boats frequently dock at the side of the coast. The fishermen brought their cage capture and sold them to the market or at the site. As seen here, one of the fishermen is hurrying over the pedestrian bridge to the market. The touch of the morning light brightens the image that I captured.
A revisit to Shantou, China (third visit within three years), recently gave me an opportunity of witnessing the local people enjoyed their morning session. Just slightly over 6:00 am, there were already a number of early birds having their morning exercise. Guan Hai Chang Lang (Seashore Long Corridor Park) 观海长廊 along Haipin Road. Shantou, definitely is the right place for enjoying my morning session of photography.
