On 30 Nov 2024 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, the pattern of the water created by the maintenance boat was eye-catching. My perception was already focus on the repetitive pattern of the Light and shade. The drizzle started and further enhanced the pattern.
It was a lovely abstract image to be captured within a split of a second. An image demonstrate highest level of conceptual and visual coherence, and resonate with a superb artistic pictorial identity.
On 01 Dec 2024 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, the members were all set for their round of practice. From my vantage angle with the combination of brilliant morning light, the setting was just perfect for me to capture an amazing image. An image that must capture at a decisive moment when all the oars were just out of the water.
In sprite of warning sign, angler at our reservoirs is commonly seen. On 06 Jan 2025 at Lower Seletar Reservoir, an angler happily enjoyed his morning session. Was he ignorant or just carry on with his hobby? With the photographer present at the other corner of the image enhanced the interest of the image. Perhaps another signboard “Photographers are welcome” should erect at all the reservoir to encourage lensmen to capture the beauty of our reservoir.
