The vibrant colours of roses usually are a favourite subject for photography. On 02 06 2023 at Gardens by the Bay, I had an opportunity of capturing more images of the flower. Though my visit was during the evening, the soft lighting was still sufficient to allow me to capture a number of eye-catching image.
As my usual practice in photography, simplicity and colour is always applied for my macro-photography in order to achieve maximum visual impact.
“秋风扫落叶” in English means “as the autumn gale sweeps away the fallen leaves”. I had been so enthralled by the autumn mood that I had hardly noticed the cold during my recent trip in Melbourne.
The mood was even enhanced further when the strong wind (most probably at 26 km/h ) swept away in the Fawkner Park, Melbourne, Australia, on 31 05 2023.
My concept at that moment, was to utilize a slow shutter speed on my camera to capture an eye-catching image in my mind. As I was using a compact camera, I hand help my camera with a setting at slow shutter speed. I am very pleased with the final impact of the final image.
I enjoyed the serenity mood at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 13 05 2023 morning.
Though the sky on that day was not that spectacular, I was fortunate to have the angler with his bright colour dress as the subject. I decided to use a wide angle lens to capture the beauty of the landscape. Most importantly, capture the decisive moment of the angler completed the story of image.
