An Image Speaks More Than A Thousand Words

An interesting candid shots that I captured at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 30 05 2021. What else is better than having an image to show the fruitful result! A minute later, I witnessed him released the fish into the water. Apparently he was contented with the catch. He was also aware of fishes are important for the control of algae in the catchment area. Perhaps, fishing is just a hobby for this angler. For me, I love the cloud reflections and the colour of the water. More importantly, freezing the action and turned into a story telling image within a split of a second. Finally the orientation of all these observations of the happening, a pleasing image from my vantage angle thus captured.

Heron Resting On A Plate Form

I have not seen heron at the Lower Seletar Reservoir for a short while. On 27 05 2021, I came across one and only heron resting on the plate form of the water area. I was also attracted by the waves of the water generated by the fogging boat. I was very pleased to utilize the pattern of the waves as the backdrop of image. Orientation of my observation of such happening ended up with an interesting image being captured.

Illusion Of Multiple Exposure

When I set my camera on multiple exposure (triple exposure on the same frame), I did not expect how the end result would appear. I studied the final image, I realised it turn up to be an illusion of the landscape of New Zealand. My original perception was all distorted. If you are an impressionist, I think you will enjoy viewing such an image. (08 07 2013
