Most probably, you were taught that top lighting angle is usually not suitable for photography. To me, occasionally there are exceptions. Such as shown here, the top lighting has created a perfect rim light effect for one of the workers. In addition, the reflected light gave an unusual fill in on the faces. All these factors attracted me to capture this image during my visit to Guangzhou, China, in 2017.
I was attracted by this colourful environment in Hoi An, Vietnam in July 2018. I waited for a while until the collector appeared in the frame to complete the story content of the image. Recycle and save green is the present message that needs to promote worldwide.
The Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the famous temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site consisting of 240 temples, is a unique place to visit. For my trip in 2015, I have selected an angle using the vegetable farm as a foreground to capture an image of this temple against the backdrop of a sunset. The end result shown here is a more colourful image showing the temple in relation to the greenery.
