Along the coastal road of St Ives, Cornwall, UK the century old Carn Galver Mine obviously is an icon of the place. My visit this month was fortunate to have the spur of light on the site. Comparing my visit to this location seven years ago, the lighting created a dramatic impact when I captured the tower against the light.
St. Ives, Cornwall, UK in early March apparently is much lesser crowds due to cold weather. My second visit to the pier recently happened to be low tide of the day. Nevertheless, I was attracted by the colourful boat and the seagulls at the beach. I love the quietness of the late afternoon. Most importantly, I enjoyed the freshness of seafood with Eng Loy for our dinner.
What attracted me not only the live of people in the old town of Shantou, China, but also the quality of lighting. A stroll down in the old town in last October ended up with a number of interesting images. This is one of them. What else is more convenient than doing the homework at the doorstep?
