A morning session to Coloane Village, Macau recently ended up with numerous colourful images. Over there, a number of deserted shipyards acquired by the government still under further development. The metal that left over in the yard formed a number of colourful subjects for photography. A trip to this location is an opportunity to capture the heritage of Macau prior to its development. This is one of the images that I captured during my fruitful visit.
An image that I captured in the Central Park, New York, USA in January this year. The pattern and colour are quite distinctive on the surface of the water. I think this kind of environment is only available in cold country. The dried leaf on top of the surface of the ice apparently added colour to a monotonous setting of the image.
Initially, my attention was attracted by the texture of rocks. Closer examination, I found the green young plant growing in between the rocks. The contrast of both items is very strong in colour, texture and size. Another common subject that could be overlook in our daily life. I love such an environment of nature. An image that I capture along the coast area during my recent visit to Lei Yue Mun, Hong Kong.
