The pure white of snow is always pleasing to admire. I think after the nasty blizzard 2016 in east coast, USA, the beauty is unexpected. I came across this setting just outside the house of my host. I love the touch of colour dried maple leaf broke the monotonous of the pleasing lines and shapes of the snow. The rest for me is to achieve a good composition. Simplicity is still my key word of capturing this image.
Recently, I went back to the Gardens by the Bay (2nd time in a week). Besides capturing the blossom the usual way, once a popular zooming technique strike my mind. I decided to capture another image of blooming tulips in a different way. The end result presented the tulips out of reality. To explore different approach of capturing a blossom is always a creativity that I bear in mind.
Observing the colourful display of Tulips in The Gardens BY The Bay yesterday, my perception of the scene allow me to capturing an image in a very colourful mood. Once again, differential focusing and proper control of depth of field are some of the important factors for achieving the end result shown here. This is my way of creating a new image with my personal touch.
