Part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site, and surrounded by areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Lyme Regis, the “Pearl of Dorset”, is famous for its fossils, its historic old town, its Cobb and its beaches. A stroll along the marine parade is a unique experience especially when the gusty wind brewing on shore.
To me, an afternoon leisure stroll along the sheltered beaches of Durdle Door is a relaxing enjoyment. Further more, waiting for the tides to gush in, is a right moment of capturing this beautiful site of the south coast of England.
Durdle Door, one of the attractions of Jurassic Coast of England, was our destination of visiting south coast. We were fortunate to have a sunny spell afternoon to capture this amazing site. As seen here, the water of this sheltered beaches is much calmer than the Lyme Bay.
