One Step After Another

Manchester actually was the world’s first industrialised city. Since my first visit in 1992, I realise the urban renewal of Manchester is rapid. It is interesting to learn that Manchester city centre is now on a tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
I think for a child to step on that structure right in the city centre is really fun especially on the way to the adjacent shopping centre with the parents. Besides the colourful dress of the child, the superb quality of the morning light has added sparkle to the whole image.

Saturated Colour Reflection

One thing can be sure that I like reflection and good colour contrast. While we were strolling along the Salford Quay, Great Manchester, recently, I found this colourful image in a gloomy afternoon. Besides the colour of the image, I like the composition as well.

This is another image that I captured at Bridgewater Canal at Worsley, from the same outing of my “Reflection of A River Boat”.
Actually I didn’t expect any opportunity for such a colourful image along this Canal.
You may say that I have a little bit of luck to come cross a nice picture out of an ordinary place. I always like to explore new places that I have never been. The end result is rather rewarding for photographic purpose.
