During my travel to Hong Kong last week, I spent one day in ShenZhen. One of the place that I visited was Window of the World . I captured this image in this little show on earth. With vantage point, I was able to capture the decisive moment of koi crowded for food.
Since we are still celebrating the beginning of the year of pig, I would like to utilise this image to wish all friends a prosperous year ahead.
One of the images that I captured at St James’s Park, London was this close up study of the swan. I like the richness of the colour of this image. Beside that, the gracefulness of the swan is very attractive.
While I was in London Last October, I stayed at the Goring Hotel. Within walking distance from my hotel is the Grosvenor Garden. During one of the sunny mornings, I decided to have an outing in the garden. The lovely green; the colourful dry leaves; the big trunk of an old tree casting a heavy shadow in the field, all were good elements of a lovely image. Further more, the reflected light from a window nearby interestingly lit up a small area in the shade. The bird, searching for food, enhanced the visual impact to an extent. Though the garden is small, I think the potential to capture a pleasing image is still available.
