Morning Spray

The golden touch of the morning sun provided warm colours for the whole image. The water sprinkle further enhanced the visual impact of the picture. I caught this picture of a farmer hard at work watering his vegetable plantation first thing in the morning during my visit to Dieng Highland, Central Java in 2002. I was there to attend the Annual Meeting and outing of the Nusantara Photo Club. The NPC 2005 annual meeting is scheduled to be held in September in the Central Java area follow by yet another outing in the region.

Golden Splendour

I captured this image in Hong Kong one late afternoon in March 1997. I was attracted by the gorgeous colours and lighting of the reflections. I managed to shoot from a vantage point at an overhead bridge along Wanchai area.

Early Catch

After a night’s stay in a primitive rest house (wooden-couch-with-oil-lamp environment), I was greeted with the early morning freshness of the strong waves from the ocean. The villager of Prarang Tritis, Central Java was the one of the early birds catching shrimps along the side of this sandy beach. I love the golden hour of the day and the action of the villager. This was one of my favourite images that I took during my first visit to Central Java in 1980.
