I have been to our reservoirs for years, on 09 06. 2024 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir was my first time to come across someone using a public place for a proposal occasion. I was attracted by a bundle of balloons set for the event. I foresee with proper manipulation of lighting contrast; the end result could be very interesting for an image. The post-processed result meets my expectation of having an image in my mind.
Not too long after the balloons was set. The couples arrived at the Heritage Bridge and proceeded to the location for their scheduled event. Before the proceeding of proposal event, the organizer stopped public to enter to bridge. Since the Reservoir is a public park, I wonder do they have the right to execute such request. I wonder!
When the weather is fine, the opportunity of coming across a remarkable landscape early in the morning is still rare. I was fortunate to witness a outstanding phenomenon at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 09 06. 2024. To capture the image at it best still greatly depends on the vantage angle. To wait for the right moment for the MRT to come into the right location was my intention of achieving the visual impact for the image.
