A Breezy Day

A Breezy Day 02
Just return from my six weeks vacations in UK. Though the weather condition was not that promising on certain days, I managed to capture a number of new images during my stay. I will post them here from time to time for your viewing pleasure. Do watch out for it!
Cambridge is always associated with the famous university, colleges and churches. Actually, the city is quite green and some of the scenic spots are picturesque. In a late evening of a summer day, I was soaked in a brilliant sunshine when I captured this image. The cooling breeze swung leaves of the branches to and fro in a repetitive direction. I could not resist clicking my camera shutter when a nice framing of the vegetation in the backdrop is achieved. It is really relaxing under such a pleasing environment especially after a daylong journey on road.

Lost Direction

Lost Direction 2006
I captured this image two years ago during my last visit to Mount Bromo, East Java. When we mentioned Mount Bromo, usually we would have a perception of a misty scene with tourists and horses at the location. Besides caturing the usual stuff, I came across this dog wondering about in the misty morning. “Negotiable?” “Magnifient View From Penanjakan” and “Misty Bromo” posted earlier are just some of the images that I captured at the same attraction during my previous trips.

Blooming Russell Lupins

Blooming Russell Lupins
After seeing a number of wild flowers and flowers in the gardens of UK recently, I think the Russell Lupins in New Zealand are still very unique. For this image, I had to use a very low shooting angle in order to avoid the distractions from the shore. Using small aperture to achieve greater depth of field is apparently essential in good landscape photography.

“Russell Lupins Bloom At Lake Tekapo” posted earlier is another image taken at he same location.
