Swinging Colour

This shot was captured at the Ang Mo Kio Town Gardens West a few days ago. For this image, the lovely blooming flowers on a tree attracted me. I decided to apply the multiple exposures again to capture the image. This time I decided to use “series” instead of “single” for the exposure. Handheld my camera during the shooting. Most importantly, the breeze shifts the position of flowers during the exposures. The result is another abstract of flower study. If you like “The Gorgeous Magnolia”, I think you probably love this one.

Fascinating Night Market

Night market in Hanoi, Vietnam is very lively and congested. The market is not only popular among tourists but also a favorite place for the local especially youngsters to enjoy their purchase and food. No wonder, the hotel staff mentioned that the location is worth visit and make you feel much younger. The location is actually within a stone throws from my hotel.

The Gorgeous Magnolia

I mounted the camera on a tripod and set my camera for the multi-exposure mode. Selected 10 exposures on a single image and set on the self-timer mode. Moved the camera 9 times horizontally during the exposure time. The overlapping image shown here is a remarkable abstract of colour, lines and shapes. I captured this image day before yesterday at the Gardens By The Bay. I have turned the Magnolia flowers into an abstract image. Most importantly, the repetitive pattern of the image is very dominant. The “Illusion Of A Blooming Tree” was the other abstract image captured with the similar technique on multiple exposures.
