I enjoyed the lovely sight that I came across when I was at the Canal of Birmingham, UK in last November. I anticipated the geese coming towards me from my vantage angle. The end result is the study of decisive moment, lines, colour and lighting in good composition of the happening.
I didn’t expect to wake up at 3:52 am to enjoy the serenity of full moon night after the nasty blizzard in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The lovely blue sky,the long shadow on the snow ground attracted me to shoot the image through my window from my host home. Most importantly, the warm glow from the lamp added a good colour to the whole image. Such a scene is too good to be missed even I have to sacrifice my sleep during the cold winter night.
To admire the gigantic of the Weeping Cherry Blossom, you may have to go to the Miharumachi section of Tamuragun County in Fukushima Prefecture. At present, I have to be contented with a close up of the weeping sakura in the Gardens By The Bay until I visit Japan again. I think the beauty of this species of cherry blossom is different from others. It is relaxing to view such an awesome display in the Gardens.
