I have been wondering about the presence of these items. Not until I read about the snails (thousands of them) laying eggs during the night. Eventually, on 21 01 2021 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir,  I witnessed the interesting sight with a cluster of bright pink eggs (toxic) laid by the Apple Snail on a pillar just above the water. It is a wonderful sight for nature photography.
