In 1772, the most remarkable eruption of the mountain Papandayang occurred.<br \/>\nThe annual meeting of Nusantara Photo Club this year was held in Bandung from 21st to 25th August 2006. One of the itineraries was a photographic outing to mountain Papandayang (2622 m.). <\/p>\n<p> Today, the volcano of Papandayang is still in an active state of eruption. Columns of flame and fiery lava streams were seen rising from a mountain to a vast height. Stone falling for miles is a common scene in this area.
